M2 Destroyer class ships are, as the name implies, Destroyers. Although they cannot carry a significant number of ships, they are used as escorts to M1 Carrier class ships, spearhead ships for fleets and for general destruction. They carry a significant amount of firepower, and usually have multiple turrets capable of mounting a wide variety of weapons.
